How do you sell your popcorn?

Depending on your needs, our gourmet popcorn is sold by the bag, in popcorn tins, or in gift boxes. 

Where are your stores located?

Currently we have three retail locations within the Dallas Metroplex. Address information and maps are available on our locations page.

Are custom flavors available?

Absolutely! We enjoy the challenge of flavor requests. If it's possible, we'll sure try to find a way to create exactly what you need. And, just a heads up, the more lead time, the better. Contact us for more information about custom flavors.

Can I order more than one flavor in a tin or gift box?

Yes, depending on the size of the popcorn tin, pail, or gift box, you can order multiple flavors and they will be separated by dividers or packaged in individual cellophane bags.

Can I get a refill for a tin I purchased previously?

Yes and no. While we do not specifically offer refills for our popcorn tins, you can order popcorn by the bag to refill your tin with any combination that you would like.

How do I keep my popcorn fresh?

Generally, our product(s) will remain fresh for about 30 days.  We suggest you do not open your product(s) until you are ready to eat it; do not expose the product(s) to adverse weather conditions such as humidity and heat; once opened, store all product(s) in an air-tight container at room temperature; do not refrigerate, freeze, reheat, or microwave any Uptown Popcorn product(s).

Under these conditions, each category below will remain fresh approximately the following number of days

- Classic: 14 days
- Savory: 14 days
- Candied: 30 days
- Popcorn & Nut Blends: 30 days
- Signature: 30 days
- Uptown Special: 30 days
- Caramel: 30 days
- Kettle: 21 days

The above dates are for the freshest product, however, our customers state that our popcorn is fresh well beyond these recommended date ranges.

What can delay my order?

Legal holidays, inclement weather and unexpected circumstances could delay order processing. Because our product is freshly handmade in small batches, delays may occur in processing your order; however, our goal is to ship within 24 hours of receiving your order.

How do I use a promotion code?

Enter promotion codes at checkout.

Offer valid on purchases through date listed in offer. Offer not valid in Uptown Popcorn stores. Cannot be applied to previous or pending purchases. Offer not valid for taxes, shipping, handling, gift certificates/cards or payment on any credit card account. Offer cannot be combined with any other offer, and is VOID if altered, reproduced or unauthorized. Not redeemable for cash or credit, and lost or stolen offers will not be replaced. Original offer required for redemption.

How do I cancel my order?

Once your order is placed, we will not be able to cancel the order.

What happens if a tin design runs out of stock?

In the rare event that your tin selection is unavailable at shipment date, Uptown Popcorn will contact you, via the provided email address associated with the order, to determine the appropriate substitution.

Will I receive an order confirmation email?

We will automatically send you an email to the provided email address associated with the order. You will also receive a tracking number via email after the shipment has been picked up by FedEx. To ensure that you receive all of our emails, and they are not directed to the spam folder, we suggest that you add our email address to your address book or trusted sender list.

What type of payment do you accept?

Uptown Popcorn accepts Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover Card.

Will I be able to add a gift message to my order?

Yes. When placing your order there is a box to enter your gift message located under the credit card field, and it will appear on the address label.

Will the gift recipient receive any paperwork showing the price of the product?

No, they will receive only the popcorn and/or gift and a gift message if you created one.

Can I change the delivery address after my order is placed?

Once your order is placed, we will not be able to change the delivery address.

When will I receive my order?

Our goal is to ship all orders within 24 hours of receiving them. Therefore, orders placed today are scheduled to ship on the following business day.

Delivery dates are calculated from the date of shipment. For example, an order placed on Friday for 2-day delivery will be due to arrive on the following Wednesday.

Ground shipping delivery dates cannot be guaranteed. If you would like your order to arrive on a specific date (weekdays only), select 2Day (or Standard Overnight) shipping and select the appropriate Ship Date, two (or one) business days before you would like your order delivered.

Packages are delivered Monday through Friday only (holidays excluded).

We DO NOT require signatures for delivery. If no one is available to receive the package, it will be left at the door at the FedEx courier's discretion.

Due to the perishable nature of our popcorn, Uptown Popcorn cannot be responsible or liable for deliveries where the customer is not available to receive the order.

Please reference the FedEx zone map for an estimation of transit days on ground shipping.

Do you ship on Saturday?

No. FedEx Ground, 2Day, and Overnight orders ship Monday through Friday.

Do you ship to Alaska and Hawaii?

Yes, shipments are sent 2Day. Allow 2-3 business days. Additional fees may apply.

Do you ship to international locations?

Shipments outside the U.S. are subject to extra handling charges and fees. All applicable duties and taxes will be charged to the customer at the time the order is processed. Orders shipped internationally or outside the 48 contiguous states are sent via a FedEx Express service and may require additional delivery time. Regrettably, there are some countries to which we are unable to ship. Please contact our Mail Order Division at 1.877.710.IPOP (4767) or email customer service to ask about international shipping and handling charges. To place your international order, please call Monday through Friday 8:00 P.M. – 3:00 P.M. (CST).

Can you ship to school dormitories?

FedEx requires a physical delivery address, which for schools is often different than the postal address. Please check with your student's school regarding the proper delivery address and internal routing information for UPS shipments on campus.

Can I send to a P.O. Box?

FedEx does not deliver to P.O. Boxes, APOs or FPOs. FedEx requires a physical address. However, you may call in orders shipped to P.O. Box, APOs, or FPOs to our shipping facility at 1.877.710.IPOP (4767).

Will FedEx or Uptown Popcorn call before delivering the package?

No, it is your responsibility to let the recipient know a package is coming. We strongly advise this because the package is of a perishable nature.

Does someone have to be home to sign for the package?

We ship all orders without requiring a signature for release; if no one is available to sign, FedEx will leave your order at the door without requiring a signature. However, we strongly recommend that someone be present to accept delivery. If you're sending popcorn gifts, please notify the recipient that a perishable package will be arriving. Uptown Popcorn cannot be responsible for liable for deliveries where the customer is not available to receive the order.

In the event that no one is home to receive your order, we strongly recommend you send your package to a business address to ensure delivery.
